Plant Based Pancakes!

Pancakes have always been my favourite breakfast treat, but because they're so oily and sugary they're just a one in a blue moon treat, right? Well, take away the unnecessary fats and refined sugars and you can enjoy pancakes all the time! Don't get me wrong, these pancakes are just as sweet and delicious as the ones we're all used to but they're all natural and totally plant based - that's right, healthy pancakes! 

For this recipe you will need! 
- 1 ripe banana (the spottier the better) 
- 3/4 of a mug of self raising flour
- 3/4 of a mug of almond milk
- berries and maple syrup to top

Simply put your banana, flour, milk and a glug of maple syrup into a blender and pulse until smooth! Then your batter is ready to cook! 

Place a non stick pan on a low heat and begin pouring your mixture, making about 3 small pancakes at a time! When the surface of your pancakes starts bubbling up, they should be ready to flip! Your pancakes should be a gorgeous golden brown colour.

After both sides are cooked they're ready to serve, so top with plenty of fruit and as much maple syrup as you like and there you have it, HEALTHY pancakes - enjoy!
